Medical service JSC "International Airport Irkutsk" has a hospital with therapeutics department, neurology unit, surgery, resuscitation and anesthesia department, policlinic with 250 attendances per shift, physiatrics department and diagnostic department.
Medical service units have the newest foreign diagnostic equipment (from the USA, France, Japan, Hungary, and Slovakia). The units for US, USDG, middle brain structures, electroencephalograph, rheograph, endoscopes, bronchoscope, biochemical analyzer and others are used in the treatment practice. All basic technologies of checkup and treatment are used in the practice. More than 70 % of medical stuff is certified. The medical service JSC "International Airport Irkutsk" is a clinical base of Irkutsk State Medical University and Irkutsk State Institute of doctor improvement.
The passengers can get free medical care at any time in the health post.
There is the only in Irkutsk day-and night hospital on the basis of health service. This kind of health care is for those patients, who cannot get it in the day-time, and also for persons, from another cities, who are away on business in Irkutsk. For these patients the complex medical care (diagnostic, treatment) can be given in the evening and at night. The hospital works seven days from 18.00 to 8.00, including holidays. The admission goes on in the wards of core departments and also in the wards “junior suit” and “suit”. This kind of medical care is absent in the program of compulsory health insurance, therefore the medical care at night goes on under the treaties with citizens, organizations or with insurance companies by the system of voluntary health insurance.
